Rameen delivers a mature and introspective style of Hip-Hop, his Rap consists of contemporary social issues and intricate topics on a universal level. Rameen brings out a common ground with listeners through painting a palette of realism and close caption lyrics of everyday life. Rameen comes from an enriched background which is reflected in his music.

Rameen and his family returned to Sweden after living in America for several years. This was the place where Rameen's ability of writing lyrics first surfaced and which resulted in expressive poems. This was soon noticed by childhood friend and aficionado Faizal Khan which supported him (and today is Rameen's business partner). At the tender age of 14 Rameen showed maturity that bedazzled people around him and it wasn't long before he started writing rap verses. After piling up endless notepads of lyrics he felt the need of putting this into recording, in the summer of 1997 and after numerous favours Rameen managed to get studio time in the up-and-coming company Executive Entertainment (today FutureBlast) which was owned by American music Entrepreneur Tim Weedon. This is where he learned to put full songs together: 16's, hooks and flow.

Being deeply entrenched in the Hip Hop culture Rameen takes the same path as the Great KRS-One- EDuTainment- educating and entertaining. Hip Hop was born under the circumstances of social injustice, racism and self-awareness, to keep the legacy of this proud art alive Rameen makes his mark taking on global issues as well as personal.

With artistic charisma, sharp punch-lines and a production team stretched all over the world Rameen is surely to do justice to this art form. Rameen have been rapping since the mid-nineties and have appeared on numerous international mixtapes including in the U.S. , France , Sweden and Germany , been featuring on several compilations and had frequent live performances. In the spirit of Sam Cooke it's been a long time coming and 2006 is the year where a decade of grounding is finally due.

Rameen's work is a reflection of himself, it is the assortment of communities he lived in and the experiences that serves as the backbone and inspiration for his work. Rameen makes the world his home and at this point in his life he is currently based in London , U.K. and has unofficially assumed the title as International Rapper.

Time will prove that Rameen's music is much needed in this tumultuous world, music which people can relate to and be inspired by. Music that brings solidarity and truth; music that is good and sincere- the way Hip Hop was meant to be.
