Cleon Lord aka De Hitman was born September 3th 1977 in a small area in London , England . He lived in Trinidad and Tobago till he was 11 years old. He later moved back to London , England where he completed High School, College and University where he received his degree in Business Information System / Computer Science.

Cleon has also devoted a lot of his time doing charity work. He has helped raised fund for a Cancer Research for a local hospital in his area by putting on a Variety Show which was staged at Theatre Royal in London . He also worked with Children Society which is a charity for children with mental illness. He also took this opportunity to teach some of the children dj-ing, attempting to pass on his legacy to the younger generation. Cleon's great heart and charitable work was later recognised by the Queen in December 2006 for the Christmas Honours List. There he received a MBE (Member of the British Empire ) from the Queen.

Cleon has been dj-ing for 13yrs. He was on live365 jamming up the Internet airwaves with his sweet collection of Soca, Calypso and not forgetting his favourite Kaiso. “I love my kaiso music too bad. My favourite kaisonian has to be the one and only Cro Cro . I think that man is brilliant and he speaks the truth, which is what I like.” After being on live365 Internet radio, he was spotted by a European Promoter and from there De Hitman was jamming de Soca in Denmark / Holland playing at different venues. On his return home he was offered to Dj on RGI (Radio Guyana International) another Internet Radio Station. From there he was receiving regular listeners. “Working on RGI has been fun at that time and the buzz for me was having people tuning in from all over the world. As well as playing my music, I like to educate them as well by explaining the meaning of the songs and etc.”

“A strange thing happens to you when you are dj-ing on Internet Radio and that is you never know who is listening,” Hitman Recalls. Dj Slic spotted him and had asked him to do a 30mins Mix for BBC London's Socalypso review. “When I heard my mix being played on 94.9fm it was like a dream come true. Smokey Joe has been an inspiration to me from since I was a little boy, I used to tune into his shows on WNK and record them. Up to this day, I thank God for that achievement and like I said, you never know whose listenin g” After the appearance on Socalypso review , he was given the opportunity to do some more mixes alongside Dj Slic!

Another strange thing also happened to De Hitman and that was receiving a phone call by a man called “Tiger” who owns GFM RADIO and again De Hitman was offered an early morning Saturday Soca Show with a Co-Host called KB! “Receiving that phone call was like ah shock. I was wondering why these people are calling me and I felt as though I was just a DJ like the rest of them. It was fun working with KB, we like to tease each other on the show as well as playing soca and I think most of the listeners didn't listened to what we were playing, they were listening to what comments we make about each other.” De Hitman was one of the hottest things on GFM Radio as well as having a regular audience of 375 listeners he was getting listeners in Japan, Sweden, Germany just to name a few. It was in December 2002 De Hitman decided to hang up his dj-ing gloves and become a Soca Promoter. “I felt it was time for a change. As I felt I wanted to do more for my culture in this country. I also formed a Promotions company called Co2 Productions and I will be looking to promote not only soca events but artistes as well and who knows perhaps have a compilation CD.”

Notting Hill Carnival 2003 he was responsible for bringing DJ Tony Tempo from Atlanta , which made De Hitman's first appearance as a Soca Promoter a Success. When asked what does he have in stored for soca lovers next year he replied , “Well, anything is possible. I mean this year People where saying, Whey De Hitman gone, we haven't heard anything from him and all of ah Sudden Dj Tony Tempo come up and the man behind that was me. So you see how I does operate. All I'm saying now is, watch out of for De Hitman anytime cuz ah coming like ah hurricane ” 2004 was another great year for the Hitman as he has been travelling around hitting each European countries such as, France, Denmark, Holland spreading the soca music and making it more known to the Europeans was a great success for him. Later on in the year De Hitman decided to have his own steel pan side and joined up with Reel Steel that competed in the National Panorama Finals in the UK placing them third. “I've always wanted to have my own steel pan band and when I joined up with Reel Steel it was like a dream come true. I see myself as a Richard Branson of Soca in terms of Branson has his own Virgin Planes, Virgin Trains etc. I would like to have my own Co2 Live Band, Mass Band etc and that is something I am working towards the future if God Willing.”

Cleon Lord aka D'Hitman became the CEO the Internet Radio Station called “The Frontline Radio” after its launch in February 1 st 2006. Though on many occasions he has announced his retirement from dj-ing, till this day you can still hear De Mighty Hitman on special sets exclusively to the Frontline Radio. When asked to describe Mr Cleon Lord, his loyal fan and good friend Ann in Maryland said, “ Cleon Lord became our comedian, a mentor for music to some, and to us ladies his name got a little bit longer. He was known to us now as D'Mighty Hitman, De Girls Dem Sweet Man. De Hitman will come on frontline and from his tone in his voice you will know how he is feeling, and from his selections of music you can tell what mood he is in. I must say, I have never come across a Dj that will find a tune for all purposes, like the Hitman does. ”

Indeed his names tend to develop as time progresses. From Soca Administrator, which was given by his father, it was modified to D' Administrator by his uncle. When he went to Denmark to play for the opening for a Caribbean Club, an old man gave him the name D'Hitman Administrator. It wasn't until he went on BBC where they featured his Mix, Smokey Joe changed his name to D'Hitman.

Cleon Lord aka D'Mighty Hitman, De Girls Dem Sweet Man, the Grandmaster of Old Skool Soca, CEO of Frontline Radio, Director of CO2 Productions, whatever you call choose to call him, will always be known as “the most talented Soca DJ / Promoter in Europe!” YUH CHECK IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
