Curtis is definitely a talented singer and performing sensation when it comes to music and the stage, he is an individual that should not be under estimated.

Born in Trinidad & Tobago in the small town of Gasparillo, Curtis started singing in school at the tender age of 9 years old. This paved the way for him to participate in many competitions at this early age and was always in the winner’s circle.

He pursuing his love for music and competed in one of the islands most prestigious talent show TV show know as “Party Time” that was televised nationwide were he place 1st in the preliminary round, 1st in the semifinals and 2nd in the finals. He performed a ballad that displayed the strong vocal talent of this upcoming artist, he sang “Shower Me with Your Love” wowing the hearts of the audience and judges. This took his new career to another level with his ability to be versatile with many music genres.

This talent led him to perform as member of some of Trinidad and Tobago’s top soca bands such as, Volts Express, Blue Ventures, and Fire Flight where he had the opportunity of touring with them internationally across the globe.

During this time he also did guess appearances with other bands from Trinidad such as Traffic, Chandelier and Jamaica’s own Byron Lee.

Curtis also had the opportunity of performing with renowned singer like the Mighty Sparrow, Machel Montano, Sugar Aloes, Calypso Rose, Rupee, Red Plastic Bag, Ronnie McIntosh, Destra Garcia, Sherwin Winchester, Dil-E-Nadan and many more.

Upon migrating to Canada he further pursued his career and team up with producer Ozzie Gurley and his band “The relatives”, which was famous of producing the controversial hit songs “Who Let the Dogs Out” and other hits like “Follow The Leader” and many more. Curtis became the lead vocalist with the band and went on to sing for 3 years doing SOCA, R&B, REGGAE, RAP and was commended for his ability to “Free Style”. He toured with “The Relatives” during this period doing live shows across North America.

In 2001 Curtis went to pursue a career as a solo artist, and at the same time maintaining good relations with several local bands that he did special appearances with. He was always thankful for the motivation and good advice and positive influences from the people close to him such as well known former top radio personality from Trinidad and Tobago 96.1 Fm “C. Wyllie”, and De Xclusive JTC, Dr Wyse and Dj Verseone. He is currently working on new material with music producer Jus Shane from Jus Shane Productions from Miami.

Curtis B is currently preparing launch his first single for 2010, “Rock De Bumper” on “The Party People Riddim” that features artist’s from across the Caribbean.
