The song was written and the video was produced and co-directed by Trinidad's own Rawle's Royce (Rawle Archie). It is a mid-tempo R&B track and the video follows the lyrical theme closely as Justina indulges her fascination for 'the shy guy'

THE SONGWRITER/THE TRINI CONNECTION: RAWLE'S ROYCE (RAWLE ARCHIE)

Rawle’s Royce aka (Writing Wrongs) was born Rawle Archie, and raised in Trinidad & Tobago in the Caribbean. He grew up and spent most of his youth living in a deprived inner city area of Port-of-Spain, Trinidad’s capital, East-Dry-River. Despite his humble upbringing Rawle passed for one of the best schools in Trinidad, Fatima College. A school more renowned for its academic and sporting achievements than for its musical enterprise.

A gifted songwriter, Rawle began writing poetry as young as 6 years, and in his teenaged years his ability to compose also blossomed. Whilst in Fatima he wrote a play and soundtrack titled ‘The Glory of Love,’ and when he was leaving his alma mater, he compiled a collection of his compositions titled ‘150 Not Out.’ This reflected the 150 pieces of lyric he had written up to that point, many with accompanying melodies. The cricketing reference, a tribute to his sporting icon, school and national hero Brian Lara.

Rawle moved to London, England at the age of 18 to attend University at University College London (UCL). Whilst in UCL he founded the Songwriting and Recording Society, and in 1997 he was first inducted as a member of the Guild of International Songwriters and Composers. Rawle has since written songs in genres as diverse as Pop/R&B to alternative rock, from blues/jazz to Calypso and Soca highlighting the broad spectrum of his talent

Rawle and Justina met in London in 2008 in response to a Talent Search ad, he placed in the UK newspapers and Justina quickly emerged as the forerunner after he conducted several auditions. They have recorded a number of tracks together and “The Morning After” may just be the first of several releases.
